code of conduct

All employees, trainers, training participants, delegates, attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners and volunteers (hereafter referred to as “participants”) at the training courses, workshops, coachings and conferences (hereafter referred to as “events”) held by trendig technology services GmbH (TD) must abide by the following Code of Conduct. Organizers will enforce this code throughout these events.

trendig is dedicated to provide a harassment-free and inclusive events experience for everyone. Therefore we do not tolerate harassment of participants in any way, e.g. offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks and other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to follow the warning immediately and refrain from any further misconduct. If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the TD events’ organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including a warning of the offender or his/her expulsion from the event with no refund.

Any communication and material issued at conferences from sponsors, exhibiting partners, at vendor booths or from similar parties are subject to this code of conduct, too. In particular, exhibitors should not use sexualized images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not wear sexualized clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualized environment. If you are unsure if the outfit is appropriate, please contact us at: diversitywelcome@trendig.com.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the TD events staff immediately. Events staff can be found at the office registration or conference registration desk. TD events staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment or discomfort to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.

We expect cooperation from all participants to ensure a safe environment for everybody. This code extends to, talks, workshops, tutorials and any training-, coaching- or conference-related sessions,
